Austin Butler is going from one slightly deranged character to another.
More than nine months after wowing audiences with his take on Feyd-Rautha in Dune: Part Two, Butler has been cast to play Patrick Bateman in Luca Guadagnino‘s American Psycho for Lionsgate. Variety broke the casting.
Scott Z. Burns wrote the script for Guadagnino’s American Psycho, which will be a new adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel instead of a remake of the 2000 movie starring Christian Bale. No word yet on when production might start. We’ll keep you posted.
