I think one of the most popular ’80s films to parody is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. A few years ago, Dominos did a commercial with Stranger Things star Joe Keery at the height of the show’s popularity. And even Matthew Broderick has stepped back into character for a past Super Bowl spot. Director John Hughes created a film that continues to have a foothold in the pop culture stream.
