HBO Releases ‘Westworld’ and ‘Watchmen’ Trailers at SDCC

Over the weekend at San Diego Comic-Con, HBO got fans more excited than they already were for season three of Westworld and for our first real good look at Watchmen.

Season two was a bit of a letdown after how great season one was, so hopefully this new season turns things around a bit. And based on Jonathon Nolan‘s comments on season three, it looks like we’ll be getting less “mystery box” and more “of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers.”

Warworld looks like it is a pretty intense visit, ya think?

Westworld season 3 debuts on HBO in 2020.

And here’s our first real good look at the Damon Lindelof‘s take on Alan Moore‘s Watchmen.

Plot Synopsis:

Watchmen takes place in an alternative, contemporary reality in the United States, in which masked vigilantes became outlawed due to their violent methods. Despite this, some gather around in order to start a revolution while others are going out to stop it before it is too late, as a greatly wide question levitates above them all; who watches the Watchmen?

This is an interesting take on the property, since the story is set decades after the events of the original comic. Should be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

Watchmen hits HBO this Fall.

What do you guys think? Interested in either of these? I know for one, I’ll be watching both.
