Reading Time: < 1 minute

With Sinners making bank at the box office, Marvel Television has rightfully decided to use the fact that Ryan Coogler executive-produced Ironheart to promote the upcoming Disney+ series. The first trailer for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever spinoff has been released. Let’s take a look.

The newest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe begins just three days after the events of Wakanda Forever, which introduced audiences around the world to Dominique Thorne‘s Riri Williams, the titular Ironheart.

The series also stars Anthony Ramos, Regan Aliyah, Alden Ehrenreich, Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White, with Jim Rash reprising his role as the Dean of MIT from Captain America: Civil War. Sacha Baron Cohen has also been cast in an undisclosed role (believed to be the villainous Mephisto).

Plot Synopsis:

Ironheart pits technology against magic when Riri Williams (Thorne)—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood” (Ramos).

Ironheart launches with a three-episode premiere on Disney+ on June 24, 2025.
