First Look at ‘Jumanji 4’ & ‘The Legend of Zelda’ Released

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The game of Jumanji is coming back to our world in the third and final installment in the reboot trilogy.

The official X account for Jumanji shared the first image from the untitled movie, which confirms that the game will be returning to the real world for the first time since the original 1995 classic. “Look who’s on the loose,” reads the caption.

The image features Dwayne Johnson‘s Dr. Xander “Smolder” Bravestone, Jack Black‘s Professor Sheldon “Shelly” Oberon, Kevin Hart‘s Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, and Karen Gillan‘s Ruby Roundhouse standing in a busy street. What does it mean? Are these the real versions of the avatars, or are humans stuck in their bodies again? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

Nintendo has also dropped the first look at its upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda movie, after set photos were leaked online. The images show Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda.

“This is Miyamoto. Filming is underway for the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda in a lush, natural setting, with Bo Bragason-san who will play Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth-san who will play Link,” reads the caption to the X post. “Filming is on track for the film’s release on May 7, 2027. It will take a while until the release, so we would be grateful if you would wait patiently and look forward to it.”

Sony is set to distribute the untitled Jumanji sequel in theaters on December 11, 2026, followed by The Legend of Zelda on May 7, 2027.
