‘Kickboxer’ Video Game Adaptation in Development

Reading Time: < 1 minute

We’re getting a Kickboxer video game, according to IGN. Force Multiplier Studios, a new studio founded by Jeremy Breslau, Brent Friedman, and Charnjit Bansi, is working on the game adaptation in tandem with Dimetri Logothetis, the writer and producer on the reboot film Kickboxer: Vengeance, and producer on the rebooted franchise, Robert Hickman.

It’s early stages on the game. There’s no trailer, no pics, and no word yet on whether Jean Claude Van Damme (star of the original 1989 Kickboxer) will be involved.

And that’s a big question mark right there. If they get Van Damme, take our money. If not…well, maybe take our money. We’ll have to wait and see.

Personally, I would be more excited about a Bloodsport game adaptation, but beggars can’t be choosers. But what are you thoughts about a possible Kickboxer game? Is Van Damme’s involvement non negotiable or are you up for this regardless? Let us know in the comments.
