‘Mass’ Trailer: A Raw Look at Grief

Bleecker Street has released an official trailer for Mass. The upcoming drama finds two sets of parents meeting in the aftermath of a school shooting in which one of their kids was the shooter and the other a victim.

Wow, this looks like it will feature Oscar-worthy performances across the table. You can feel the tension in the room. Emotions are trying to be kept in check. This will definitely be one I keep my eye on when it hits theaters. This looks like a Masterclass in dramatic acting for sure.

Plot Synopsis:

Years after an unspeakable tragedy tore their lives apart, two sets of parents (Jason Isaacs and Martha Plimpton, Reed Birney and Ann Dowd) agree to talk privately in an attempt to move forward. In Fran Kranz’ writing and directing debut, he thoughtfully examines their journey of grief, anger and acceptance by coming face-to-face with the ones who have been left behind.

Mass hits theaters October 8, 2021.
