New ‘Invincible’ Trailer

Prime Video has released a new official trailer for Invincible, an adaptation of the Robert Kirkman comics of the same name.

This looks like it will be a lot of fun. Amazon is quickly turning its streaming service into a home for more mature superhero content and I am all for it.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that I’m a fan of Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons and seeing them work together (even if it’s just animated) is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see what this show brings to the table regarding animated superhero programming.

Plot Synopsis:

The story revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). Shortly after his seventeenth birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and enters into his father’s tutelage. The series is suspenseful, action-filled, and emotion-packed, yet builds upon poignant and heartwarming moments of love, friendship, and humanity.

The first 3 episodes of Invincible begin streaming March 26, 2021 on Prime Video. Episodes will then be released weekly through April 30, 2021.
