New ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Trailer

Sony has released a new official trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Let’s take a look and see if this will actually be something worth seeing in theaters.

Damn, that trailer actually made me want to see this film. The design for Carnage looks amazing and is definitely the main draw for me.

However, I cannot get into whatever Tom Hardy is doing as Eddie Brock and Venom. It is painful to watch and makes it very clear that Hardy is only in the film for the paycheck.

I’m torn on this non-MCU Sony Marvel films. I want to like them, but they just look so bad.

Plot Synopsis:

One year after the events of Venom (2018), investigative journalist Eddie Brock struggles to adjust to life as the host of the alien symbiote Venom, which grants him super-human abilities in order to be a lethal vigilante. Brock attempts to reignite his career by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of the symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage hits theaters September 24, 2021.

What do you guys think? Interested in seeing this at all?
