Power Rankings: Guilty Pleasure Movies

The SAW Power Rankings is our weekly ranking of a certain movie related topic. Please feel free to comment on our rankings and provide a list of your own in the comments below.

What are “guilty pleasure” movies? We all have them and the reason we consider them guilty pleasures may be for different reasons for each of us. For some it maybe that movie you are embarrassed that you actually like or that movie you know you are going to be attacked about the moment you mention your admiration for. I think it comes down to your personal preference, but for me it’s movies that are either generally disliked by most and I love them or the ones that I’m “not supposed to like”. You know those movies that when you tell someone that knows you, you like a particular and they go “WHAT?!” Granted this would make up more than half the movies I love and the fact that my favorite genre is practically a guilty pleasure. I’m not embarrassed of any movie I love and will defend them for the most part, however, sometimes I just can’t explain why I enjoy certain movies so much. I’m sure you have those as well.

Below, some of us at SAW took a brave step in sharing some of our deep, dark movie guilty pleasures and we encourage you to do the same. Give us some of your guiltiest of guilty movie pleasures below. It’s okay. This is a judgement free wasteland except if you love Romeo+Juliet. I mean what the hell, Blank?!

* Please remember this is guilty pleasures for movies only. Don’t get too personal. We want you to share, not scare.*
