Road trip movies encompass many genres from action-packed films to slapstick comedies to dramas. We get zany characters and kick-ass soundtracks while some deal with high-stakes like bootlegging beer for a party. Road trip movies is a sub-genre that has produced some of the best and most iconic movies of all-time. We decided to rank our favorites from this type of film this week and want to see your rankings down in the comments below.

True Romance gives you everything you want in a RTM but written by the great Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott. And I mean come on, Logan? It’s arguably one of the best superhero movies that dips into sci-fi and the road trip genre. RTM seems like a match made in horror heaven because of what kind of scares can happen while on the road and Death Proof helps prove that with its maniacal character Stuntman Mike. Paris, Texas is simply a prestigious drama that is a must-watch. Okay, I can admit Over the Top isn’t great but it bites me with the nostalgia bug like no other. I love this film.
