Which ‘Star Wars’ Project Would You Instantly Greenlight as Lucasfilm President?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.

Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.

May the 4th be with you, screenagers! It’s Star Wars Day, and while we do have a new list (or three) in the works for the franchise, they won’t be ready until The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters later this month.

Instead, we thought we’d throw out a real softball of a question to get some discussion going about the future of Star Wars. So, the question I ask today is: if you were Dave Filoni, head of Lucasfilm, which Star Wars project would you instantly greenlight?

An animated series set after Return of the Jedi following Han, Luke, and Leia that DOES NOT contradict where these characters end up in the sequel trilogy always seems like a no-brainer. I’d also revive that Kylo Ren movie Adam Driver wanted to make with Steven Soderbergh.

So what about you, screenagers? Which Star Wars project would get the greenlight if you were Lucasfilm president?

I’ll see you in the trenches.
