David Zaslav must have gotten coal in his stocking because he’s making us all wait another year for The Batman Part II.
Per Deadline, Warner Bros. has made some changes to its release calendar. The most prolific move is that The Batman Part II will now open on October 1, 2027, instead of October 2, 2026. Taking over The Batman sequel’s place on October 2, 2026 is the untitled Alejandro González Iñárritu-directed movie starring Tom Cruise.
Oh yeah, and Sinners and Mickey 17 have swapped release dates. The former, starring Michael B. Jordan as vampire-hunting twins, will now hit theaters on April 18, 2025, while the latter has been moved up to March 7, 2025.
That’s all.
Are you bummed The Batman Part II has once again been delayed? Remember, this movie was originally set to come out next October.
