Universal has announced the main voice cast for DreamWorks Animation‘s Shrek 5 with a short teaser. The sequel’s new animation style (which I am not a fan of) can also be glimpsed in the video.
Anyway, the cast announcement teaser features some Gen Z humor (which is mega yikes) before revealing that Zendaya will voice Shrek and Fiona’s teenage daughter, Felicia. Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy are also on board the animated sequel to Shrek Forever After, reprising their respective roles from the previous films as Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey.
Shrek 5 is being directed by Walt Dohrn and Conrad Vernon. The screenplay was written by Michael McCullers. The animated sequel is scheduled to hit theaters on December 23, 2026.
What do you screenagers think of Zendaya voicing Shrek and Fiona’s daughter?
