Reading Time: 2 minutes

It’s time to say goodbye to The Boys.

Showrunner Eric Kripke has confirmed that the upcoming fifth season will also be its last. In a statement on X, Kripke wrote, “#TheBoys Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the Final Season! Always my plan, I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax. Watch Season 4 in 2 DAYS, cause the end has begun!”

In The Boys Season 4, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

The fourth season of The Boys stars returning cast members Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti, as well as new additions Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The Boys Season 4 premieres on Prime Video on June 13, 2024. The fifth and final season is expected to commence production before the end of the year.
