The Canon Podcast | ‘Oldboy’ (2003)

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday. Which of course means it’s time for another episode of The Canon: An Essential Movies Watchlist. This week we’re talking about the legacy of Oldboy.

Happy listening, screenagers!

Episode 38: Oldboy (2003)

Let’s get some revenge! We welcome our first Korean film into the Canon. It’s very fitting that it’s Park Chan-wook’s Oldboy, which introduced a lot of American audiences to Korean cinema as a whole, eating live octopus, and hammer hallway fights. Bob and Sailor join for a SPOILER filled discussion.
