It looks like Zack Snyder will be doing some reshoots for his upcoming cut of Justice League.
Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher will reunite to shoot additional scenes for Snyder’s cut of Justice League, something fans have been wanting to see happen for three years.
According to THR, Snyder will shoot new scenes next month featuring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg. The additional filming will reportedly take place over a week.
This is pretty important news for two reasons. The first being that we long believed Affleck to be done with the role of the Dark Knight, but it looks like in the last year he’s changed his mind. In addition to shooting new scenes for the Snyder Cut, he’ll be reprising his role for The Flash movie. Second, when the Snyder Cut was originally announced, it was stated that there would be no new footage shot. It looks like that’s since changed, so we may be able to see scenes like the Martian Manhunter reveal (that were never shot) make it into the upcoming HBO Max limited series.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere on HBO Max sometime in 2021.
Are you glad Snyder is being allowed to shoot new scenes? Do you think more actors will be returning as well for reshoots?
