Briarcliff Entertainment has released an official trailer for Blacklight, the latest Liam Neeson action thriller. Let’s take a look.
Okay, I’m aware this looks like it could be a direct-to-video offering, but the fact it has Liam Neeson in it means I’ll be watching it. I love his action films and have seen almost all of them. (Heck, when are we going to do a Liam Neeson themed month here at SAW?)
No matter the quality, I’ll always watch Neeson’s latest. The man knows how to deliver an awesome performance. If it’s true that Stallone is finished with the Expendables franchise, how about we have Neeson come in as his estranged brother and take over as co-lead alongside Jason Statham? I’m just spitballing, but I’d watch another couple films in that series if it meant seeing Neeson kick ass with other aging action stars.
In addition to Neeson, Blacklight stars Aidan Quinn, Emmy Raver-Lapman, Tim Draxl, and Taylor John Smith.
Plot Synopsis:
Blacklight hits theaters February 11, 2022.
