‘Memory’ Trailer: Liam Neeson is an Expert Assassin with a Faltering Memory

Open Road Films has released an official trailer for Memory, the latest action-thriller to star Liam Neeson. Let’s take a look.

Alright, this looks pretty good. It’s nice to see Neeson play an assassin that has a character trait (faulty memory) for a change instead of just the tough no-nonsense killing machine type.

Also, with Guy Pearce part of the cast, I’m getting some Memento vibes. It’ll be nowhere as good as Christopher Nolan’s film, but fingers crossed it will deliver a couple of good twists.

Martin Campbell directed the film which also stars Monica Bellucci, Harold Torres, Taj Atwal, and Ray Fearon.

Plot Synopsis:

MEMORY follows Alex Lewis (Liam Neeson), an expert assassin with a reputation for discreet precision. Caught in a moral quagmire, Alex refuses to complete a job that violates his code and must quickly hunt down and kill the people who hired him before they and FBI agent Vincent Serra (Guy Pearce) find him first. Alex is built for revenge but, with a memory that is beginning to falter, he is forced to question his every action, blurring the line between right and wrong.

Memory hits theaters April 29, 2022.
