Anthony Carrigan Is Metamorpho
Anthony Carrigan (Gotham, Barry) has boarded the cast of Superman: Legacy as the classic DC character Rex Mason / Metamorpho. Netflix’s Masters of the Universe Movie Is Dead
Netflix‘s live-action film reboot of Masters of the Universe is officially dead. Insiders said that close to $30 million has already been spent on development costs. Kyle Allen would have starred as He-Man with filmmaking duo Adam and Aaron Nee (The Lost City) directing. Apparently “budget concerns” was the reason Netflix decided to shelve the project. | Source: Variety
Two More Actors Join Tron: Ares
Cameron Monaghan and Sarah Desjardins have closed deals to join Tron: Ares, the third film in the Tron sci-fi franchise from Disney. The upcoming threequel follows Leto’s computer program Ares on a journey from the digital world to that of humans. | Deadline
The Nee Brothers Attached to New Lego Movie
Adam and Aaron Nee are going from Masters of the Universe to Universal. The duo reportedly have a deal at Universal to develop a new hybrid live-action animation film around the Lego franchise. | Source: Variety
