Reading Time: < 1 minute

It’s time to Meet the Parents… again.

According to Deadline, a fourth installment in the fan-favorite comedy series is in development at Universal Pictures. Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner are in early talks to return for the sequel, reprising their respective roles from the original trilogy as Jack Byrnes, Gaylord “Greg” Focker, Pam Byrnes-Focker, and Dina Byrnes.

John Hamburg — who co-wrote all three prior films in the franchise — is set to write the screenplay. No director is attached yet. Jay Roach — who directed the first two films and produced all three past installments — will return to produce through Delirious Media.

Plot details remain under wraps. Little Fockers (2010), the latest installment in the franchise, ended with Greg and Pam’s respective parents both deciding to move to Chicago so they can be closer to their children and grandchildren.

We’ll keep you posted as more information is shared about the untitled Meet the Parents 4.
