Disney has released a new official trailer for Pinocchio, a live-action remake of the beloved Walt Disney animated classic. Let’s take a look.
Is it just me or is that “puppet” extremely unsettling to look at? Either way, there’s not much here that looks worth my time. I mean, Tom Hanks will of course be amazing as Geppetto I’m sure, but everything I saw in that trailer I can just find in the original animated film.
In addition to Hanks, Pinocchio stars Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Pinocchio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket, Cynthia Erivo as the Blue Fairy, Keegan-Michael Key as “Honest” John, Lorraine Bracco as Sofia the Seagull, and Luke Evans as The Coachman.
Plot Synopsis:
Pinocchio begins streaming on September 8, 2022 on Disney+.
