The best show on Prime Video is coming back for a fifth season. That’s right, screenagers, Reacher has just been renewed.
“From Lee Child’s globally beloved novels to its standout on-screen adaptation, Reacher has evolved into a true powerhouse franchise,” said Amazon MGM Studios’ Head of Global Television Peter Friedlander, via Deadline. “The series’ ability to combine high-octane action with compelling character storytelling continues to resonate with tens of millions of viewers around the world. We’re excited to move forward with a fifth season ahead of Season Four’s debut and to build on this incredible momentum.”
The early renewal for Reacher comes ahead of the series’ fourth season, which remains undated at this time, but is expected for 2026. Season 4 will be based on the thirteenth Jack Reacher book, Gone Tomorrow.
“When a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power,” reads the logline.
Alan Ritchson leads the series as its title character. Joining Ritchson for the fourth season are newcomers Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, Agnez Mo, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Roberston.
The first three seasons of Reacher are available to stream on Prime Video. A spinoff, Neagley, is also coming soon.
