
Prime Video subscribers cannot get enough of Reacher.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, 54.6 million viewers worldwide tuned in to watch Reacher Season 3 during the first 19 days on the streamer, according to internal figures from Amazon. This marks not only Reacher‘s biggest debut yet but also the best debut yet for a returning series in the history of Prime Video. Amazon added that Reacher Season 3 is Prime Video’s biggest premiere since Fallout, which brought in 65 million viewers over its first 16 days in April 2024.
Reacher Season 3 Is Based on Lee Child’s Persuader
Reacher is based on the Jack Reacher book series by Lee Child, with Alan Ritchson portraying the title character. Season 3 adapts the seventh novel in the series, Persuader, which takes place in Maine and sees Jack Reacher going undercover to rescue an informant being held by a haunting foe from his past.
Besides Ritchson, Reacher Season 3 stars Anthony Michael Hall as Zachary Beck, Brian Tee as Quinn, Sonya Cassidy as Susan Duffy, Olivier Richters as Paulie, Johnny Berchtold as Richard Beck, Robert Montesinos as Guillermo Villanueva, and Daniel David Stewart as Steven Elliot, among others. Maria Sten also returns from previous seasons as Frances Neagley (who is getting a spinoff series).
A new episode of Reacher Season 3 debuts every Thursday on Prime Video until March 27, 2025.
