Reacher fans rejoice! The Prime Video action series has just been renewed for a fourth season.
Per Variety, Prime Video has ordered a fourth season of Reacher ahead of the show’s Season 3 premiere, which the streamer also confirmed would debut in 2025. The upcoming third season will be based on Persuader, the seventh book in author Lee Child’s bestselling Jack Reacher series. The cast for the new season includes returning stars Alan Ritchson (Jack Reacher) and Maria Sten (Frances Neagley), as well as newcomers Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart, and Olivier Richters.
The Reacher renewal comes a week after Prime Video announced the show’s first spinoff, which will focus on Sten’s Neagley. The logline for the untitled spinoff reads as follows: “When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
“Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance and CBS Studios.”
The first two seasons of Reacher are available to stream on Prime Video. Season 3 premieres in 2025.
