Get ready to binge The Beatles in 2028.

During Sony‘s CinemaCon presentation, Sam Mendes revealed the first details about his upcoming The Beatles quadrilogy, which are all set to be released in April 2028 as the first “bingeable moment in cinema.”

The cast for the movie, which had been reported by the trades but had yet to been officially confirmed, was also unveiled. Joseph Quinn is George Harrison, Paul Mescal is Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan is Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson is John Lennon.

“I had been trying to do a film for years, but I finally gave up [because the] story was too big for one film,” Mendes shared at CinemaCon. “There had to be a way to tell the epic story for a new generation … I can assure you there is still plenty left to explore and I think we found a way to do that.”

For the unaware, each Beatle will receive his own biopic. Mendes confirmed that it will take him more than a year to shoot all four movies. The official logline for The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event is: “Each man has his own story, but together they are legendary.”

We’ll keep you posted as casting comes together.
