Pixar has just released the new Soul trailer. And let me tell you, I am sold on this premise. (It also looks leagues better than Onward.)
Alright, this is the Pixar I remember. The first teaser released last year didn’t really give us much to think about. But now that we have a full trailer it’s clear that this film will tug at our heart strings. Director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc., Up, Inside Out) just loves to make us cry.
I’m really interested in the premise of this film. The Great Before seems like a great concept, and tying souls with jazz is an obvious no-brainer. I think Pixar has a future classic on their hands.
Plot Synopsis:
Soul hits theaters June 19, 2020.
