‘The Aeronauts’ Trailer: Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones Take to the Sky

Amazon has just released a new trailer for The Aeronauts, starring Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones. The two previously worked together in The Theory of Everything. Let’s see how their new film compares.

I have to say that this looks pretty interesting! The visuals look great, and the true story looks compelling. Redmayne and Jones are a couple of today’s finest actors, so I know they’ll give a performance worth watching. And as someone who isn’t a fan of heights, I’m sure this film will be packed with tense moments. Such as the one teased at the end of the trailer.

Plot Synopsis:

Set in 1862 and inspired by true events, The Aeronauts follows wealthy young widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and headstrong scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim. As their perilous ascent reveals their true selves, this unlikely pair discover things about each other – and themselves – that helps each of them find their place in the world they have left behind.

The Aeronauts hits theaters December 6, 2019 before arriving on Amazon Prime December 20, 2019.
