Netflix has released an official trailer for We Can Be Heroes. The film acts as a standalone sequel to The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D and features the next generation of superheroes. So, yeah, that means we got a kid who apparently has shark and lava powers.
Yup, that looks like a Robert Rodriguez kids movie alright. It definitely feels like it would fit in nicely alongside his other 2000s children movies like Spy Kids. Honestly, I hated Sharkboy and Lavagirl and dreaded when it was on TV. I doubt I’ll get around to watching this film. At least, until I have kids and they need to be punished. Then I’ll make them watch Sharkboy and Lavagirl and We Can Be Heroes as a double-feature.
Plot Synopsis:
We Can Be Heroes begins streaming December 25, 2020 on Netflix.
