The apocalypse, for better or worse, is a subject that we can’t seem to get enough of. There are hundreds of apocalyptic and post apocalyptic movies out there. Most of them aren’t worth watching. But there are some gems that are worth checking out. Some of them may not be as polished as Terminator 2: Judgement Day and Mad Max: Fury Road, but they each shine in their own way. You just have to look beyond the surface. These are 10 of my favorites, in no particular order.
