‘Brothers’ Trailer: Family Is a Life Sentence

Prime Video has released an official trailer for Brothers, an upcoming comedy film that looks to be this generation’s Twins. Let’s take a look.

Brothers stars Josh Brolin, Peter Dinklage, Glenn Close, Brendan Fraser, Marisa Tomei, E. Emmet Walsh, Jennifer Landon, Ted Ferguson, and Taylour Paige.

“Me and Brolin play brothers and the origin of how we made this movie is we pitched it to studios because a friend of his said ‘You and Dinklage both have really big heads. You guys should play brothers,'” Dinklage told Collider in 2023. “And I was like, he called me and was like ‘My friend said this, you want to play.’ I was like yeah. Movies have been made for less ideas than that, this is perfect.”

Plot Synopsis:

Brothers tells the story of a reformed criminal (Josh Brolin) whose attempt at going straight is derailed when he reunites with his sanity-testing twin brother (Peter Dinklage) on a cross-country road trip for the score of a lifetime. Dodging bullets, the law, and an overbearing mother along the way, they must heal their severed family bond before they end up killing each other.

Directed by Max Barbakow, Brothers opens in select theaters on October 10, 2024, before debuting on Prime Video a week later on October 17, 2024.
