Daredevil: Born Again will have a third shot to win over fans of the original Netflix series.
Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel Studios, recently revealed to IGN that Marvel has ordered a third season of Born Again, which will begin production in 2026.
“In terms of Daredevil, yeah, we are greenlit for Season 3 and we start shooting next year,” Winderbaum said.
Daredevil: Born Again is a revival and continuation of the Netflix series Daredevil, following Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock as he resumes his fight for justice as Daredevil, putting him on a collision course with former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio), who is now the mayor of New York City.
The end of the first season saw Daredevil forced to go into hiding after Mayor Fisk outlawed vigilantism. The upcoming second season will reportedly follow the superhero as he gathers allies to resist Mayor Fisk and his Anti-Vigilante Task Force, one of whom will be Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones.
With Born Again Season 3 looking like it will follow a similar production timeline as the first two seasons, fans can likely expect to see it on Disney+ in March 2027. In the meantime, both the original Daredevil and Born Again Season 1 are available to stream on the platform, while Season 2 will arrive in March 2026.
Are you excited that Daredevil: Born Again is getting a third season? Do you hope the show improves and gets closer to its Netflix roots?
