Denzel Washington Announces Two More ‘Equalizer’ Movies

Reading Time: < 1 minute

We haven’t seen the last of Denzel Washington as Robert McCall.

During an interview with Esquire (via Empire), Washington revealed that Sony is making two more sequels in its The Equalizer franchise. “I told them I would do another Equalizer, and we’re doing four and five,” said Washington. “More people are happy about that — people love those daggone Equalizers. But I’ve come to realize that the Equalizer films are for me, too, because they’re for the people. They want me to go get the bad guys. ‘We can’t get them, so you go get them.’ And I say, Okay, I’ll get them! Just wait right there. I’ll be right back!”

That’s all we know. If I were a betting man, I’d wager that director Antoine Fuqua will also be back since he’s directed all three released Equalizer movies so far. I guess time will tell.
