‘Despicable Me 4’ Trailer: Things Just Got a Little More Despicable

Illumination has released an official trailer for Despicable Me 4, the first Despicable Me movie in seven years (not counting the Minions spinoffs). Let’s take a look.

Despicable Me 4 stars Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Madison Polan, Will Ferrell, Sofia Vergara, Joey King, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman, Pierre Coffin, and Steve Coogan.

Plot Synopsis:

The Despicable Me franchise begins a new chapter as Gru (Steve Carrell) and Lucy (Kristen Wiig) and their girls —Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier), and Agnes (Madison Polan)—welcome a new member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. Gru faces a new nemesis in Maxime Le Mal (Will Ferrell) and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina (Sofia Vergara), and the family is forced to go on the run.

Directed by Chris Renaud, Despicable Me 4 opens in theaters on July 3, 2024.
