Two major IP movies have just revealed their full casts.
Elden Ring
Bandai Namco Entertainment and A24 have announced that the live-action adaptation of the fantasy game Elden Ring will be released in theaters on March 3, 2028. The movie will be written and directed by Alex Garland.
Elden Ring will be filmed for IMAX, with production beginning in Spring 2026. The full cast for the movie has also been announced, with Kit Connor, Ben Whishaw, Cailee Spaeny, Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonathan Pryce, Ruby Cruz, Nick Offerman, John Hodgkinson, Jefferson Hall, Emma Laird, and Peter Serafinowicz set to star.
Elden Ring, based on a mythological story written by George R. R. Martin, is an action RPG that debuted in 2022. It allows players to explore vast environments and dungeons to discover the unknown and enjoy the sense of accomplishment that comes from overcoming obstacles and challenges. The dark fantasy action RPG has surpassed 30 million copies sold worldwide.
Gundam
Netflix, meanwhile, has unveiled the full cast for its upcoming feature-length adaptation of Gundam. Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo will lead the movie, which follows rival mech pilots at war across Earth and its space colonies.
The cast also includes Jason Isaacs, Jackson White, Javon Walton, Michael Mando, Gemma Chua-Tran, Shioli Kutsuna, Nonso Anozie, Ida Brooke, and Oleksandr Rudynskyi.
Gundam is now in production. Jim Mickle is directing from his own screenplay.
