Netflix has released an official trailer for Frankenstein. The upcoming movie serves as filmmaker Guillermo del Toro‘s take on Mary Shelley’s classic 1818 novel of the same name. Let’s take a look.
Frankenstein stars Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as the Creature, Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza, Felix Kammerer as William Frankenstein, Lars Mikkelsen as Captain Anderson, Christoph Waltz as Henrich Harlander, and Charles Dance as Leopold Frankenstein.
Plot Synopsis:
Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
Frankenstein will be released in select theaters on October 17, 2025, ahead of its global release on Netflix on November 7, 2025.
