Hulu has released an official teaser trailer for Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair. The upcoming four-part event miniseries serves as a revival of the beloved 2000s sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. Let’s take a look at the trailer.

Frankie Muniz, Jane Kaczmarek, Bryan Cranston, Christopher Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado reprise their roles from the original series as Malcolm, Lois, Hal, Francis, Reese, and Piama, respectively. With Erik Per Sullivan no longer an actor, Caleb Ellsworth-Clark has taken over the role of Dewey, while Anthony Timpano replaces twin child actors James and Lukas Rodriguez as Jamie.

New characters include Malcolm’s daughter, Leah, and girlfriend, Tristan, who will be played by Keeley Karsten and Kiana Madeira, respectively. Vaughan Murrae will portray Kelly, Hal and Lois’ youngest child, whose existence was first teased in the original show’s series finale.

Plot Synopsis:

After shielding himself from his family for over a decade, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is dragged back into their orbit when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) demand his presence at their 40th anniversary party.

Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair begins streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on April 10, 2026.
