A24 has released an official trailer for Mother Mary. The upcoming psychological drama-thriller film was written and directed by David Lowery, the filmmaker behind Pete’s Dragon, The Green Knight, and A Ghost Story.

Plot Synopsis:
Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary (Anne Hathaway) reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anselm (Michaela Coel) on the eve of her comeback performance.
Mother Mary opens in theaters on April 17, 2026.
