Our mission at SAW is to foster conversations about this thing we all love (or love to hate): film/TV. Many of our features are designed with you in mind. Your opinions, to be more to the point. You have ’em. We want to hear ’em.
Question of the Day (QOTD) is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a film/TV-related question that we put to you, the reader. The comments section below is like the feedback box at work; except, in this example, we actually read what you write and care about what you have to say.
Welcome to Part 2 of a trilogy of QOTDs centered around Tarantino’s 10th film. We previously discussed whether we thought his tenth film would actually get made. Today, we’re going to debate what genre his final film should fall under.
That’s right, the question I ask today is: what genre should Tarantino’s final movie be in?
Personally, I’d love to see him direct a murder mystery. Give me Quentin Tarantino’s Clue. I want a bunch of his frequent collaborators trapped in one building with a dead body, solving the murder. It’s like The Hateful Eight, but in a contemporary setting with more of an emphasis on the mystery.
If not that, then a sci-fi adventure. We know Tarantino is a Trekkie, and if Paramount ain’t going to play ball, let’s just see what an original sci-fi epic from him might look like.
So what about you, screenagers? What genre are you hoping Tarantino’s last movie falls under?
I’ll see you in the trenches.
