Jack Reacher will keep hoping for the best and planning for the worst on Prime Video.
The Amazon streaming service has renewed Reacher, based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher book series, for a third season. The renewal comes ahead of the Season 2 premiere on December 15.
Alan Ritchson, who plays the title character, revealed the news from the set of season 3 during a panel at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil. He also debuted an extended for the second season, which can be viewed below.
No word yet on which book will be adapted for Season 3. The first season was based on Killing Floor (the first novel) while Season 2 is based on the eleventh book in the series, Bad Luck and Trouble. Ritchson will be an executive producer on the show beginning with Season 3.
Reacher Season 2 premieres on Prime Video on December 15, 2023. No word yet on when Season 3 might land but fingers crossed for a mid-2024 release.
