Robert Eggers‘ next feature is shaping up to be a Nosferatu reunion.
After Nexus Point News broke that Aaron Taylor-Johnson would star in Werwulf, with Lily-Rose Depp also in talks to join the project, Deadline has added that Willem Dafoe is also being eyed for a role. All three actors previously worked with Eggers on his 2024 gothic horror film Nosferatu.
Eggers will direct the werewolf horror feature from a script he co-wrote with Sjón for Focus Features. A Christmas Day 2026 release has been set in North America for Werwulf.
