Focus Features has released an official trailer for The Phoenician Scheme, the latest movie from acclaimed filmmaker Wes Anderson. Let’s take a look.
The Phoenician Scheme stars Benicio del Toro as Zsa-zsa Korda, one of the richest men in Europe; Mia Threapleton as Liesl, his daughter/a nun; and Michael Cera as Bjorn, their tutor. The cast also includes Riz Ahmed, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Mathieu Amalric, Richard Ayoade, Jeffrey Wright, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rupert Friend, and Hope Davis, among others.
Plot Synopsis:
The Phoenician Scheme follows Zsa-zsa Korda, his daughter Leisel, and their tutor Bjorn on a globe-trotting adventure filled with conflict and family business.
The Phoenician Scheme will be released in limited theaters on May 30, 2025, before expanding wide on June 6, 2025.
