2026 is shaping up to be a good year to be a Punisher fan.
Marvel Studios has announced on X the release date for its third Special Presentation, the newly titled The Punisher: One Last Kill. The 60-minute special will be released on Disney+ on May 12, 2026.
A first poster for the Marvel Television Special Presentation has also been released and can be viewed below.
One Last Kill will arrive exactly one week after the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel Studios shared the release schedule for Born Again Season 2, which makes note of The Punisher: One Last Kill‘s May 12 release date, possibly hinting that the events of the new season will tie into the special.
Announced in February 2025, The Punisher: One Last Kill will be the third Special Presentation, following Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (both 2022). Reinaldo Marcus Green directed the special from a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Bernthal, who returns as Frank Castle / The Punisher.
Jason R. Moore is also part of the special’s cast, reprising his role as Castle’s close friend Curtis Hoyle from Netflix’s The Punisher. Roe Rancell and Mila Jaymes round out the confirmed cast, while Judith Light has been rumored to appear as Punisher villain Ma Gnucci.
The Punisher: One Last Kill premieres on Disney+ on May 12. Bernthal will then appear as The Punisher in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits theaters two months later on July 31, 2026.
