Warner Bros. has added a couple of high-profile blockbusters to its release calendar.
First up, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the second film in the DC Universe, will be released in theaters on June 26, 2026. Craig Gillespie is directing the superhero movie, with Milly Alcock starring as the title character. Ana Nogueira wrote the screenplay, which is an adaptation of Tom King’s 2022 comic book series of the same name.
The studio has also dated the highly-anticipated follow-up to its 2021 movie, Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on October 24, 2025. Simon McQuoid returned to direct the sequel from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater.
That is all.
Are you excited for these two films? Do you think they will be box office successes?
