WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK
Mad Max 2 (1981) – Prime has a channel dedicated to the Mad Max films right now with movies and BTS intermixed. It’s pretty cool and all a promo for Furiosa which just hit digital. This movie is one of the all time great sequels. It’s just so much fun. 4.25/5
Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) – Two men enter one man leaves. More like two men enter, both start snoring. This one is just not very good in my opinion. I thought that back in the day when it was on HBO and upon rewatching it, I still feel that way. 1.5/5
Ren Faire (2024) – If you are hoping this is going to be the Renaissance Faire version of Tiger King you are severely wrong. It’s only 3 episode but it feels less like a documentary and more like a movie at times. Things feel overly scripted and set up instead of happening naturally. Best parts are when the old guy who owns the place goes on dates looking for a Sugar Baby and meets them at Olive Garden. 1/5
