Universal has released an official trailer for Speak No Evil, an upcoming suspense thriller for our modern age from Blumhouse, as well as a remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name. Let’s take a look.
James McAvoy stars in Speak No Evil as the charismatic, alpha-male estate owner, with Aisling Franciosi and Daniel Hough playing his wife and mute son, respectively. The movie also stars Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairy, and Alix West Lefler as a family visiting the estate.
Plot Synopsis:
When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.
Written for the screen and directed by James Watkins, Speak No Evil opens in theaters on September 13, 2024.
