‘Army of Thieves’ Trailer: Dieter is Back to Cracking Safes in ‘Dead’ Prequel

Netflix has released an official teaser trailer for Army of Thieves. Matthias Schweighöfer reprises his Army of the Dead role of Dieter in the upcoming prequel that will reportedly feature “less zombies and more safes.” Let’s take a look.

I still haven’t seen Army of the Dead, but I guess Dieter was a fan favorite. So congrats to everyone glad to see him back in another film.

But Schweighöfer not only returned as Dieter, but also directed the prequel film. But don’t worry Zack Snyder fans, Snyder still had a hand in this film. He produced and co-wrote the story with Shay Hatten, who then wrote the screenplay.

In addition to Schweighöfer, Nathalie Emmanuel, Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin, Guz Khan, and Jonathan Cohen also star in Army of Thieves.

Plot Synopsis:

In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.

Army of Thieves is coming soon to Netflix.
