‘Barbarian’ Trailer: The Horror Movie Airbnb Doesn’t Want You to See

20th Century Studios has released an official trailer for Barbarian. The upcoming horror film revolves around a woman showing up at her rental home only to find somebody else there, and there’s even more creepy shit going on in the basement.

Barbarian looks like the sort of movie the folks at Airbnb probably wish didn’t exist because… YIKES, this film cannot be good for business. Or maybe it is, I don’t know what you screenagers are into these days. Maybe a horror Airbnb is exactly what you’re looking for.

Either way, let’s take a look at the Barbarian trailer.

Okay, I might have to book a ticket to see this. I’m digging what I’m seeing. A horror film. An original film. An original horror film! Uh, yes, please.

Written and directed by Zach Cregger, Barbarian stars Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård, Justin Long, Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler, and Jaymes Butler.

Plot Synopsis:

In Barbarian, a young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview books a rental home. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgement, she decides to spend the evening, but soon discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest.

Barbarian opens in theaters on August 31, 2022.
