NEON Distribution has released the trailer for Parasite which comes from the mind of acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho (Snowpiercer, The Host) and is set to be released here in the States this fall.
The film has already garnered some widespread attention by winning the prestigious Palm d’Or at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival which is the highest prize given at the festival. The film has been met with high praise from critics and after watching the trailer, I can understand some of the fuss and will be watching it the first chance I get. Based on the trailer, the film seems to bounce through multiple genres from black comedy to satire and then to bloody thriller. Sign me up!
