Christopher Nolan Pitching J. Robert Oppenheimer and the A-Bomb Biopic to Multiple Studios

Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. look to have parted ways.

Nolan is currently having several conversation with major studios about his next film: a biopic that will look at J. Robert Oppenheimer’s role in the development of the atom bomb during World War II.

Granted, Deadline adds that it doesn’t know if Warner Bros is or isn’t among the studios in the mix on this, but it is clear that Nolan no longer considers WB the go-to studio for his films.

No casting has been announced, but Deadline says that Cillian Murphy might be involved.

We’ll keep you posted.
